AJ ACCAD

AJ specializes in fingerstyle technique and folk, but is well versed in most genres of music. He played guitar for his high school's jazz band for 3 years, before switching to the electric bass his senior year due to a lack of bassist. In high school, he was a member of Go-go/R&B band Just Musicians and the short-lived punk rock band Not That You Care. In college, he shifted towards a guitar repair tech rule due to a lack of time. If you ask him enough times, he might just sing for you too.

I adore teaching the technical side of singing, such as vocal techniques and the science behind the voice, but I also love the more creative side of things such as telling a story and creating something dynamic. My style of teaching is very collaborative and uplifting, and the student decides what they want to accomplish and we work together to make it happen!
