FAQS
Got a question? We can help!
HOW DO I BOOK A LESSON?
To book a lesson, go to the header of the page and click on the link that reads "Book a Lesson." Once you go to that page, click on the type of lesson you want to receive (Violin, Piano, Music Theory, etc). After you click "Sign Up," the site will take you to a Google Form, which you will then fill out. We will email you when we have reviewed your submission. You can also click here to take you to the page.
HOW DO I GET MUSIC?
Once your child has been approved to receive lessons, we will email PDFs or links to a website that contains free sheet music for your child to play. You will be responsible for printing the music yourself. If you do not have access to a printer, let us know and we will find a way to get the music to you.
WILL THE LESSONS CONTINUE ONCE THE PANDEMIC IS OVER?
We plan to continue giving music lessons to students after the pandemic has ended. Our goal is to provide accessible music education for anyone, any time.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY CHILD IS ELIGIBLE?
To be eligible, your child must fit within the age range specified in the "Lesson Information" page (8-18). There are no financial requirements to qualify for free lessons. For more information click here.
HOW DO I ENSURE THE SAFETY OF MY CHILD?
Quaranteen Music Lessons is not only focused on helping children, but keeping them safe. We aim to protect privacy whilst providing a safe space for children to learn. Therefore, only parents/guardians 18 years and older may book a lesson for their child. If you are concerned about the safety of your child, you may meet with us via Zoom before hand and, if you wish, be present during your child's lessons.
