BLYTHE MCCAMMON

Blythe is an upcoming junior at North Point High School. She teaches violin, piano, and music theory. Blythe has been playing violin for about 6 years and plans to continue after high school with a violin performance major. Blythe has played piano for 3, almost 4 years. Blythe has participated in both All-County and Tri-County orchestras and is the concertmaster of her high school orchestra. When Blythe has free time, she likes to read, play board games, and watch movies.

KELSEY NJEMBU

Kelsey is a high school junior from Maryland who has been playing violin for 6 years. She teaches violin and music theory. As a musician who has not received formal training, she understands the difficulties in pursuing music without guidance. That's why she decided to start this initiative. She wants to help those without the necessary resources do what they are passionate about. Kelsey plans to continue playing violin in college in addition to pursuing a degree in neuroscience. She likes to watch TV, design graphics, and listen to music in her free time.

DANIEL GONZALES

Daniel is a college freshman in Maryland pursuing a certificate in Graphic Design. He has played violin for 9 years and, aside from classroom instruction, has been mostly self-taught. Daniel has professional experience in print and marketing services and is an avid photographer. Growing up, he was taught the importance of the adage “giving is better than receiving” and aspires to take advantage of his skills to inspire and encourage others. In his free time he enjoys listening to all kinds of music and learning about whatever sparks his curiosity.

BEATRIZ
GONZALES

Beatriz (Bea) is a college freshman at the College of Southern Maryland pursuing a degree in historyto become a history teacher at the secondary level. She has played viola for about 8 years and recently picked up the bass guitar. Mostly self-taught, she never had formal lessons outside of the classroom and found it difficult to improve musically without a mentor or teacher. Despite that, she always strove to share the joy of music her performances. She enjoys reaching out to young children, performing for them, and teaching them about music. As a future educator, she recognizes the importance of having accessible resources for all students for their further achievement and advancement.

DINITHI FERNANDO

Dinithi is a high-school senior from St. Mary Catholic Secondary School in Ontario, Canada. She's currently working to pursue a Health-Sciences degree to become a surgeon.. She has played piano for 14 years and has been classically singing for 8 years. She's also a chorister in the Canadian Children's Opera Company. Dinithi loves her job of teaching young musicians and hopes to continue teaching and sharing her passion for music! Even though she's classically trained, Dinithi is always down for a karaoke night with her friends and her favourite pop songs. She loves working with new musicians to help them find what they're passionate about because she has been in a similar position.

UMER

Yusra is a junior in high school. She has loved music for quite some time, but has not taken actual lessons. She plays piano for herself and is currently trying to teach herself at home. Yusra also loves to sing around the house while doing chores. She understands how important and powerful music can be, whether you’re a busy student who wants to relax or just trying to party in your living room. She’d love to help bring the joy of music to students who want to learn.

YOSHA SANDRA

Yosha is a high school senior at Excel High School, Minnesota. Yosha has been playing guitar for roughly 10 years and she has an avid interest in web designing and programming. At a young age, she serendipitously stumbled upon the code for a website and even though she couldn't understand anything back then, she decided to delve into the realm of unexplored opportunities that awaited her in the field of computer science. Overtime, she improved and at the age of 14, she took this up professionally when she was offered at job W.R.A.C. Apart from this, Yosha also enjoys Photography and Visual Editing, and works as a contributor for Shutterstock. But most importantly, she loves Basketball and Stephen Curry!

GRACIELLA NDJAMPA

Graciella Ndjampa is currently a Junior at Stafford Senior High School, she recently transferred from North Point High School.  She’s a determined clarinet player for 7 years in counting. She is friendly and loves to read, write, and watch movies. All time favorite movies and book sequels are Harry Potter! She loves having fun and hanging out with friends and is very selfless and compassionate. She has very big dreams, goals, and aspirations. She’s hoping to become a biomedical engineer and attend a great college to earn her master's degree.

Gabbie is currently a senior in high school in California. She was introduced to music and started playing the piano when she was about 6-7 years old. Through some kind "uncles" at her church, she received the privilege of learning how to play the guitar as well. Her past repertoire ranges across the four classical eras, but she also loves to play chords and sing contemporary music (like pop and worship songs). Her love for music and its ability to universally touch several hearts has pushed her to continually serve her community, and she is blessed to be able to take part in this amazing organization! She hopes to continually reach out and powerfully impact others nationwide through this organization and its vision!

DIGGS

Cai Diggs is a senior in high school and has a passion for editing, reading, and music. Cai takes part in many extracurricular activities at his school, a few being mock trial, National Honor Society, and poetry club. Cai plans to major in political science and go into a field of law after high school. By doing this he feels he will have a big impact on this world. In his free time, Cai enjoys playing video games with his friends and practicing his violin. He wants this initiative to be accurately and effectively portrayed through writing, and in turn see many students, regardless of income, have access to music lessons.

ALESSIA
CAUDILL

Alessia is a junior at Briar Woods High School in Ashburn, Virginia. This would be her seventh year playing the violin and she currently takes part in Artist Orchestra and Tri-M Music Honors Society. She plans to continue playing through college while also majoring in biomedical science. Outside of school, Alessia also plays lacrosse and she is a leading officer for a journaling club. She enjoys to write in her free time and is very excited to utilize her passion of writing to make a difference for students wanting to pursue music education!
